Heating up the kitchen at the Hirsch’s cook-off
The Get It Team ultimately won the judges over, taking first place!
The mouthwatering aromas of food sizzling away on the grill wafted around Hirsch’s Homestore last week as three teams battled it out during the first ever corporate cook-off at the Ballito store.
Using the Big Green Egg South Africa ceramic outdoor cookers, the combined Courier and Wordsmiths Marketing team went head to head against the marketing team from The Ballito Junction and team Get It Magazine Ballito – Umhlanga, to each create one savoury chicken dish and one sweet dish.
The competition was judged by Simmi Ramnarian (The Great South African Bake Off finalist); Loret de Musso (owner of Lorets Kitchen) and Ninnie Joctrey (Zwilling Ambassador and Chef).
