Talented Ilembe residents honoured for making a difference

It was all glitz and glamour at the fourth annual Life Changers awards held at NCF Church in KwaDukuza on Friday night, September 14.
The awards were started by an enthusiastic young man from Lindelani, Phathabakhe Shezi, to ensure that Ilembe residents who are making a difference are honoured.
The most anticipated category of the night was the best Maskandi musician with three popular artists nominated, Khangelani Mhlongo, Khuzani Mpungose and Qhoshangokwenzakwakhe Sibisi.
Khangelani Mhlongo won the award, while Khuzani Mpungose walked away with the best male category award.
Babo Ngcobo won the best gospel award while Ithimba Le Africa was voted best acapella singer and Christ Worshippers mass choir won the best amaZion award.
