Bring along your family, friends and four-legged furries and enjoy a fun 5km walk all for a worthy cause.

Ruffle through your decorations and dust off those Christmas hats – it’s time for KZN’s first annual Charity Hat Walk!
Hosted by Balwin Properties, the popular event has finally made its way to Ballito after many successful years in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Bring along your family, friends and four-legged furries and enjoy a fun 5km walk all for a worthy cause, starting at Ashton College at 7am on Sunday, November 18.
The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund has been nominated as one of five beneficiaries for the event, including Tongaat Child and Family Welfare Society, Liv Village, Sea Rescue Institute and Sables Creatures.
DJ, music producer, and radio presenter, Euphonik, will be the MC for the day and is sure to get everyone revved up and ready to walk!

Entry to the event is R100 for adults, R50 for children under 12.
All walkers are required to wear the event T-shirt, which can be purchased online when you register for the event.
Prizes for the best Christmas hat and the best dressed dog will be up for grabs!
Water points will be set up along the route, with two water points for the dogs.
Bring along your picnic baskets and enjoy live entertainment after you complete the walk. Food and refreshments will also be on sale.
Vitality members can earn 100 fitness points for completing the walk.
