Dancers hit the stage for annual medal test

A total of 32 students took part.

The annual SA Dancing Teachers’ Association (SADTA) North Coast medal test was held in Ballito at JK Dance studios on November 10.

A total of 32 students from as far as the South Coast and Westville took part in various tests from bronze to emerald star medals.

The 12 JK Dance Studio entrants were trained by Jayne Wilson and Kenn Mann, achieving one honours and 11 highly commended awards.

Thanking Ken and Jayne for their teaching, line-dancer Gina du Toit-Smith said it had taken nine months of dedication, courage and self-belief in preparation to participate.

“We thank Jayne Wilson and Kenn Mann from JK Dance studios along with their 6 organised helpers for hosting this event.”
