Sparking up the parks fun day takes off
"The idea behind the 'Spark Up The Parks' campaign is to breathe new life into the parks by making them look their best, keeping the facilities in good working condition and filling the parks with refreshed energy for all to enjoy."
Great fun was had by all at the RE/MAX ‘Spark Up The Parks’ Family Fun Day at Ashton College on Sunday.
The event was filled with excitement with the RE/MAX hot air balloon with tethered flights being offered to raffle winners along with an inflatable fun park, colour fest, craft market, and food stalls.
Simon and Kim Peacock, broker owners of RE/MAX Dolphin Realtors, said they were happy with the turnout.

“It was a great start to our fund raising efforts this year to spark up the parks. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the cause.
“We plan to uplift local parks which have been enhancing the lives of locals for many years without receiving much attention from the powers that be,” said Simon.
He said the parks provide green space, room for people to exercise and do yoga, throw birthday parties, have picnics under the trees, exercise their pets and watch their children play.
