BMW M race to social media

While most fans of the German automaker is engaging in lockdown, BMW South Africa plans to check in on them and answer questions posed online during a live feed.

Taking place on 14 May 2020 from 1 PM onwards, the Facebook Live feed that will be hosted on BMW SA’s page aims to answer all the questions that fans and clients of the brand might have. Furthermore, Head of BMW M, Driving Experience and Motorsport BMW Group South Africa, Gennaro Bonafede will be discussing the future plans and strategies that will be implemented during the uncertain times South Africa is facing currently. Joining Bonafede is Sibusiso Mkwanazi, BMW South Africa’s Group Product Communications Manager, who will be facilitating the live feed and will be standing by to further elaborate on any of the topics raised.

One of the topics that will be at the forefront of the discussion will be the reveal of in-depth details around some of the models that are lined-up for this year. Highlights in the model line-up include the local introduction of the first-ever BMW M2 CS, an exclusive and limited-run special-edition model that will be slotting in above the BMW M2 Competition. In addition to the high-performance M2 CS, a special edition M2 Competition which is the result of the collaboration between BMW and local artist will for the first time be announced and discussed.

Another important model in the powerful line-up is the M8 Competition which will make its local debut in three derivatives, including the M8 Gran Coupe and M8 Convertible Competition. The anticipated variants which seamlessly fit into the luxury segment and now also the sports and performance segments will be discussed in-depth with particular focus on the combination of the luxury department and the engineering skills of BMW M division.
