One lucky lady will win the raffle for a 2-night stay at the Hilton Bush Lodge valued at R3040, breakfast included.
We are women: Hear us roar!
Hosted by The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund, the Ladies Tea fundraiser at the Waterberry Coffee Shoppe on April 23 will raise critical funds for orphans and vulnerable children while celebrating the tenacity of women.
Join us for a fun morning of good food and fun as two special women share their experiences on how to thrive despite life’s very real challenges.
Popular Ballito-based gynaecologist Dr Nombuso Mthethwa will share what it took being a mother and doctor during the initial Covid-19 pandemic, juggling these roles while being a wife driven by her career.

Salt Rock physio Tarryn Graham, who specialises in orthopaedic and women’s health, will share her personal journey through burnout.

For those unfamiliar with burnout, it is a state of emotional, physical and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress.
It generally strikes when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands.
Experts in the medical field have said that people suffering from burnout often don’t realise until the physical effects take their toll, with many sufferers often fighting to push through instead of taking the necessary time to recoup.
The vibrant East Coast Radio DJ Minnie Ntuli has also come on board to host the morning.
Orphan Fund coordinator, Mpume Vilakazi says it will be an inspiring event.
“Our aim is that after a year-long battle with their own feelings of inadequacy and stress and helping their own families cope through during lockdown, this event will refresh our guests and ready them to take on the world,” says Mpume.
Dress to the theme of ‘denim and diamonds’ (or any kind of bling you can throw on) and win a prize for the best dressed and spot prizes aplenty.
