Miss Ballito 2021 has attracted keen interest from a bevy of beauties who will vie for the coveted title over the next few months.
The first round of the Miss Ballito 2021 contest was held at the Simbithi Country Club last week.
The closed round was to introduce the 10 young ladies to the panel of judges, before they start their 3-month mentorship programme.
Each entrant will be expected to develop a charitable project, as well as receive coaching in finance management, life skills, social media etiquette, nutrition and health, self-defence and self-love.
The Miss Ballito contest is organised by Heidie Smith and Karen Landman on behalf of Zimbali Rotary club.
Since inception in 2011, the project has raised more than R700 000 for North Coast charities.
The final, which will be a public event, is scheduled to be held in August.
