Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.
3-30 June – Submit a video to Ballito Junction in which you share your amazing singing voice. Ages 6-18. Cash prize of R25 000 up for grabs. Email submissions to talent@ballitojunction.co.za. Closing Date: June 30. More info at ballitojunction.co.za.
4 June – Catch pianist Noelin live at The Market from 10am to 12.30pm.
– Enjoy some jazz with Afritude live on Eat Street from 6-9pm.
5 June – Violinist Tara Blake will entertain the crowd at The Market from 10am to midday.
– Musician James Freedom will perform live on Eat Street from 12.30-3.30pm.
6 June – Sunday jazz live performance by Quiet Storm on Eat Street from 12.30-3.30pm.
8 June – Visit the Ballito Library where South African National Blood Service (SANBS) staff are ready for your donation. SANBS are at the Library every second Tuesday of the new month from 10am to 6pm.
16 June – Fishing fun day at the Ballito Ski Park to fundraise for Teenee Tots Preschool. R100 per rod, gates open at 6.30am with fishing starting at 7am. Prize-giving at midday. Tickets also sold at the gate. Contact Melissa for more info at 081 797 7682.
