Name: Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Publisher: Penguin RandomHouse
I devoured this novel in 4 days.
Compared to Reese Witherspoon, who claims to have finished it in a single day, I am a slow reader.
This is a riveting tale about making music, finding yourself and the fragility of truth, set in the 70s music scene of drugs, sex and rock n roll.
Written interview-style it reads like an autobiography of an iconic ’70s rock band, so gritty and frank that you might find yourself wondering why you haven’t heard their music.
It appeared so real, I certainly did!
The human drama is compelling and the story-telling exquisite.
Soon to be a streaming television miniseries on Amazon Prime Video.
