What’s happening on the North Coast

From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.

3 September – Be entertained by musician, James Freedom at The Market, 5.30-8.30pm.

Musicians, The Black Lapels will perform at Eat Street, 5.30-8.30pm.

4 September – A fun-filled family and pooch walk in aid of Sables Creatures and Paw Prints. Distance is 5kms. Prizes for best dressed ladies and dogs. Starting at Concha Cafe, 18 Compensation Beach Road, Ballito at 7.30am. Entry is R20 per person, or a tin of cat or dog food. Entry into raffle is automatic. Contact 082 431 2473 for info.

5 September – Enjoy an afternoon of jazz at Eat Street with Quiet Storm, 1-4pm

18 September – Ballito Spring Ball at Salt Rock Country Club. Live entertainment, including 4 top Latin dance shows by Ryno and Elena. Social dancing for guests. Raffle prizes up for grabs. Dress code is smart, colourful. Time is 5-9pm, tickets priced at R200pp. Bookings/Info: 079 188 5768.

19 September – Join us The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund for a 5km or 10km fun trail run – or walk – on the wild side in aid of a great cause. Venue: Rain Farm Game Lodge. Registration at 6am, race starts at 7am. Tickets priced at R120pp. Great prizes up for grabs, including a spa voucher and high tea for 2 from Oyster Box, valued at R3 000. Tickets will be priced at R150pp on the day of the trail run, children under 12 get in at half price.
