What’s happening on the North Coast

From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.

8 October – Enjoy some piano at The Market with Noelin, 10am to 12.30pm.- Catch band, Afritude, live at Eat Street, 6.30-9.30pm.

9 October – New pianist, Monique Baard, at The Market, 10am to midday.

10 October – Breast cancer awareness charity golf day at Prince’s Grant Golf Estate. Tee off at 8am, prize-giving at 3pm. Visitors: R1 800 per 4 ball, homeowners R800 per 4 ball. Book at 032 482 0041.

Cover band, Hale Mary will perform at The Market, 12.30-3.30pm.

Violinist, Tara Blake will play the violin at The Studios, 10am to 1pm.

12 October – Donate blood at the Ballito Library, every second Tuesday of the month from 10am to 6pm.

16 October – Catch the grand finale of the Ballito Junction’s Rising Talent Festival music competition at the level 6 astro turf area, 2-4pm.

30 October – All Souls Anglican Church, Salt Rock, invites you to a family fete from 9am to 1pm. Kids games, tea garden and stalls. Crafters welcome. Contact 071 881 9433.

29-31 October – Sables Creatures 4th annual Maze of Horrors fundraiser – for those aged 8 and up – at Umhlali Country Club. Food, craft gin, drinks, games, best dressed. Oct 29, 5-9pm | Oct 30, 12-9pm | Oct 31, 10am to 5pm. Contact: 083 997 4667.

30-31 October – The Spootacular 4 fundraiser is a family event that will scare your socks off at Umhlali Country Club also in aid of Sables Creatures. R10 per game. Treasure hunt, jumping castle, treats and popcorn and so much more. Oct 30, midday to 9pm | Oct 31, 10am to 5pm. All ages.

6 November – Ballito Neighbourhood Watch’s 20th anniversary potjie competition, from 10am at Townsend Park, Ballito. Entry: R50, children under 12 enter free. Judging at midday. Jumping castles, reptile exhibition, raffle and much more. Info: 084 632 6694.
