Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.
5 November – Wine Tasting for The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund at The Social Oaks at The Litchi Orchard, 5.30-8.30pm. Cost: R250pp, or R200pp for booking of more than 4 people. Contact Mpume Vilakazi at 032 946 0276 | orphanfund@northcoastcourier.co.za.

6 November – BNW neighbourhood potjie competition at Townsend Park. Bring your family, deck chairs and picnic blankets to enjoy jumping castles, zorb balls, creatures from Ndlondlo Reptile Park, vintage cars, a real fire truck and of course, 3 delicious potjie options for lunch.
– Springbok Rugby Tour, Wales vs South Africa on the big screen at The Market, 7.30pm.
– Catch the Black Lapels at Eat Street, 12.30-3.30pm.
– Emma Jae Dunn will entertain at The Studios, 9.30am to 12.30pm.
5-12 November – Free dance classes every Friday, salsa, kiz and bachata at Salt Rock Country Club from 6.15-7.15pm. Contact Terri at 079 993 6694.
7 November – Skip or run 5km for fun with Hops Ballito at 7am – end with coffee, breakfast specials and surprise giveaways. Traderoot Active kits on sale to support The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.
– Enjoy some Jazz with Afritude at Eat Street, 1-4pm.
17 November – Quiz night Monkey Helpline fundraiser at Siggi’s restaurant in Salt Rock, 7pm. Entry is R20 per person. Contact Craig Johnstone at 084 821 0667.
