From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.

25-27 November – Christmas Country Fair at Collisheen Estate, Compensation, Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 7pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm. Tickets from R65. Contact: 082 925 6481.

26 November – A multi-cultural exposé at Tongaat Town Hall with Tongaat Central Library, arts and culture department and Tongaat Child Welfare, 10am to 2pm. Display of crafts and taste of cuisine from 11.30am to 1pm.

A line-up of musicians and artists will perform at The Market, with Noelin on piano from 10am to 12.30pm, Tara Blake on violin from 3-4pm and Hale Mary from 5.30-8.30pm.

Ballito UIP AGM at chamber of business offices, from 10am.

27 November – Free rabies vaccinations with Sables Creatures at Salt Rock Library, 9am to midday. Pets to be kept on lead or in a carrier.

Calli Thompson on piano at The Market from 10am to midday, followed by Steve Graham at Eat Street from 12.30-3.30pm.

Rotaract Club start-up meeting at All Souls Church lounge, Salt Rock at 10am. All 18 to 30 years olds interested in social and community service under the wing of Rotary welcome.

28 November – Dub Drive 2021 show and shine at Tiffany’s Salt Rock underground parking from 11.15am to 5pm. Contact: 084 553 3112.

4 December – Country Christmas Market at Domino Servite School, KwaSizabantu Mission, 10am to 9pm. www.dss.org.za.
 
Ballito Gesinskerk – behind the clinic in Leonora Drive – hosts a Christmas Market, 8am to midday. Affordable Christmas goodies, homemade cookies, rusks and bread. Fun activities for kids and a tea garden, stalls, traditional food, handcrafts, books, prayer tree and more. Contact: 032 946 1198.
 
11 December – Christmas Maker’s Market at The Litchi Orchard, 9am to 1pm at Foxhill, Salt Rock.
 
14 December – Visit the Ballito Library where South African National Blood Service (SANBS) staff will assist with your blood donation. SANBS are at the Library every second Tuesday of the month from 10am to 6pm.
 
17 December – Christmas Night Market at The Litchi Orchard, 4-9pm at Foxhill, Salt Rock.
