Looking for something fun to do on the North Coast?

From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.

3 December – LIV Choir and Friends concert with the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra at LIV Village, Verulam, from 4pm. Tickets are R80pp and R40 per child. Tickets at www.liv-village.com/products/liv-choir-and-friends.

Dave Starke performs at the Market, 5.30-8.30pm and Hale Mary performs on Eat Street, 6.30-9.30pm.

4 December – Country Christmas Market at Domino Servite School, KwaSizabantu Mission, 10am to 9pm. www.dss.org.za.

Ballito Gesinskerk – behind the clinic in Leonora Drive – Christmas Market from 8am to midday. Affordable Christmas goodies, homemade cookies, rusks, bread and more available. Fun activities for kids will also be available, as will a tea garden, stalls, traditional food, handcrafts, books and a prayer tree. Contact: 032 946 1198.

John Ellis live at the Market, 12.30-3.30pm and Shaun Miller from 5.30-8.30pm.

5 December – Community Christmas parade at 5pm, pop-up market starts from 3pm. Line Umhlali’s main street as the parade passes. Bring a picnic or buy from local vendors.

Lost Youth performs at the Market, 12.30-3.30pm and Beat-Route live on Eat Street, 1-4pm.

11 December – Christmas Maker’s Market at The Litchi Orchard, 9am to 1pm at Foxhill, Salt Rock.

12 December – Christmas Carols at Encounter Church, 8 Sarah Crescent, Seaward Estate, Ballito from 6pm.

14 December – South African National Blood Service (SANBS) blood donation clinic at Ballito Library. SANBS is at the library every second Tuesday of the new month from 10am to 6pm.

17 December – Christmas Night Market at The Litchi Orchard, 4-9pm at Foxhill, Salt Rock.

28 December – Afrikaans show with Irene-Louise van Wyk and Jacques du Plessis at Karibu. Phone 0866 335 1010 for tickets.

28-31 December – All KwaDukuza libraries will be closed.
