#BookReview: A slow-burn thriller
We Were Never Here by Andrea Bartz is an excellent psychological thriller that leaves you guessing, and while the narrator, Emily, seems trustworthy, how reliable is she really?

Emily is on holiday with her best friend Kristen in the mountains of Chile.
It’s heaven on Earth – until, on the last night of the trip, Emily enters their hotel suite to find it covered in blood.
Kristen claims a backpacker who she was hoping to have a one night stand with, had attacked her.
She had no option but to kill him.
Emily must help her hide the body, but as the walls close in on their cover-up, Emily asks herself whether she can really trust her closest friend.
