Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.
14 January – Catch Noelin on piano at The Market from 10am to 12.30pm, followed by Dave Starke performing live from 6-9pm. Enjoy some jazz with Afritude, performing at Eat Street from 6.30-9.30pm.
15 January – Enjoy a 5km free, fun and friendly weekly community park run at Sugar Rush Park’s Holla Trails starting at 8am. The Park Run is held every Saturday.
– Graham Hudson performs at The Market from 10am to 12.30pm, followed by Jemma Kate until 2.30pm. The Black Lapels will perform in the evening from 6-9pm. Performing on keyboard, catch Noelin at The Studios from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
16 January – Coastal Series Zululami Trail run in Sheffield. Passing through indigenous forests and restored wetlands, this is a very scenic route but don’t underestimate the uphill finish and the North Coast heat! Join the 18km run at 6am (R205) | 10km at 6.30am (R170) | 6km at 7am (R125). U18s pay half price. Registration opens at 5.30am. Lucky draw prizes and good coffee on sale. – Violinist Tara Blake performs at The Market from 10.30am to 12.30pm, followed by Retro Stereo until 3.30pm.
26 January – Join The Wednesday Club, a charity organisation which raises funds for worthy causes, at the Ballito Library every last Wednesday of the month at 9am.
