Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.

21 January – Catch Noelin on piano at The Market, 10am to 12.30pm and Rowan Stuart will at The Market from 6-9pm. The Kickstands will perform live at Eat Street from 6.30-9.30pm.

22 January – Sheldon de St Pern will perform at The Market from 12.30-3.30pm and Hale Mary will entertain the crowd at Eat Street from 6.30-9.30pm.

23 January – The Kickstands return for another performance at The Market, 12.30-3.30pm and Jazz band, Quiet Storm at Eat Street from 1-4pm.

26 January – Join The Wednesday Club, a charity organisation which raises funds for worthy causes, at the Ballito Library every last Wednesday of the month at 9am.

2 February – Umhlali and District Garden & Flower Club meeting at All Souls Angling Church, Salt Rock at 9.30am. Talk by Cindy Rynhoud of Love Laugh. Visitors welcome at R40pp. Contact 032 946 3935.

5 February – A Cupcakes of Hope walk for childhood cancer to save lives. Bring your kids for a walk at CJ Cogan Park (next to Concha). Registration starts at 8am, and tickets are priced from R10 per pet, R20 per child and R50 per adult. Sponsorship for gifts, and company donations welcome. Contact Diana Brett at 082 938 9594.

8 February – Visit the Ballito Library where South African National Blood Service (SANBS) staff will assist with your blood donation. SANBS is at the library every second Tuesday of the new month from 10am to 6pm.

12 February – Great food, live music and local crafts at the Litchi Orchard market.
