28 January – Catch Noelin on piano at The Market from 10am to 12.30pm. Steve Graham will entertain the evening crowd at The Market from 6-9pm.
29 January – Hale Mary performs at The Market from 12.30-3.30pm, with Josh Devine taking over the show from 6-9pm. Sheldon de St Pern performs at Eat Street from 12.30-3.30pm, with Chuck Bowden taking to the mic from 6.30-9.30pm. Calli Thomson performs at The Studios from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
30 January – See Monique Baard live at The Market from 10.30am to 12.30pm, followed by Dave Starke from 12.30-3.30pm. Jazz band, Afritude entertains the Eat Street crowd from 1-4pm. South African singer-songwriter-guitarist Rowan Stuart will perform at The Studios, 10am to 1pm.
2 February – Umhlali and District Garden & Flower Club meeting at All Souls Angling Church, Salt Rock at 9.30am. Talk by Cindy Rynhoud of Love Laugh. Visitors welcome at R40pp. Contact 032 946 3935.
5 February – A Cupcakes of Hope walk for childhood cancer to save lives. Bring your kids for a walk at CJ Cogan Park (next to Concha). Registration starts at 8am, and tickets are priced from R10 per pet, R20 per child and R50 per adult. Sponsorship for gifts and company donations welcome. 8 February – Visit the Ballito Library where South African National Blood Service (SANBS) staff will assist with your blood donation. SANBS is at the library every second Tuesday of the new month from 10am to 6pm.
