Get your dose of fun with these North Coast events

From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.

11 February – Catch Noelin on piano at The Market from 10am to 12.30pm, with Gavin Ferguson taking over from 6-9pm, and Hale Mary live at Eat Street from 6.30-9.30pm.

SA Landscape Artists Award exhibition at The Gallery at The Studios, from 6pm. Exhibition will run until March 21.

Let’s Twist Again at The Place Venue in Sheffield from 5.30pm until midnight. Arrival cocktail, menu and cash bar. Live Music/DJ, dance under the stars. Tickets R400. WhatsApp: 083 775 8537. Dress code: Hot Tropics.

12 February – Join North Coast Artists for a demonstration by renowned artist, Steve van der Schyff at St Luke’s Church Hall, 2 Roger Place, Glenashley from 8.45am to 1pm. Entry at R50pp, includes refreshments. Contact 084 751 143a2.

Be entertained by Jazz band, Quiet Storm from 12.30-3.30pm at The Market, followed by The Black Lapels at Eat Street from 6.30-9.30pm.

13 February – Tara Blake performs at The Market from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and Josh Devine from 12.30-3.30pm. Afritude will perform at Eat Street from 1-4pm.

19 February – Car boot sale at Siggi’s Restaurant, Salt Rock in aid of Monkey Helpline. From 11am to 3pm. Contact Elmarie at 084 821 0667.

23 February – Join The Wednesday Club, a charity organisation which raises funds for worthy causes, at the Ballito Library every last Wednesday of the month at 9am. Guest speaker is Cozi Craft’s Siobhan Hood. Contact 082 602 4593.

26 February – A Cupcakes of Hope walk for childhood cancer to save lives. Bring your kids for a walk at CJ Cogan Park (next to Concha). Registration starts at 8am, and tickets are R10 per pet, R20 per child and R50 per adult. Contact Diana Brett at 082 938 9594.

28 February – iLembe Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism AGM from 11am at iLembe Chamber offices, The Quarter Centre, Ballito. RSVP: ntombifuthi@ilembechamber.co.za.
