Line up your dose of fun with these North Coast events

From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.

4 March – Enjoy live music, good food and more at the Night Market at The Litchi Orchard, 4 – 9pm. Children u12 enter free. Adults R30 cash or R25 card.

Dave Starke performs at The Market from 6 – 9pm, with Chuck Bowden at Eat Street from 6.30 – 9.30pm.

5 March – Rise Up Run in conjunction with The Rise Up Movement. Start and finish at Concha Café at R80 per person. The distance is 5km and starting time is 7am. Contact 068 024 7568.

The Sugar Market at Salt Rock Country Club, 9am – 2pm.

Calli Thomson plays the piano at the Market from 10am to midday, with John Ellis performing from 6 – 9pm.

6 March – Ballito Gesinskerk hosts a Women’s Day of Prayer. Ladies from all congregations are welcome to attend. The dress code must depict the UK, and all women are requested to wear red, blue and white. It is not compulsory. An English High Tea will be served after the prayer meeting. Phone 083 702 3721.

World-renowned saxophonist Andrew Young performs at Eat Street between 1-4pm.

8 March – Visit the Ballito Library, where South African National Blood Service (SANBS) staff will assist with your blood donation. SANBS is at the library every second Tuesday of the new month from 10am – 6pm.

19 March – Bok van Blerk concert in Ballito at Old North at Karibu. Early Bird Tickets available on iTickets. General: R220. Children under 6: R150.
