Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.
17-21 March – St Patrick’s Day celebrations at The Market at Lifestyle Centre with live music, great food and Irish Dancing. See ballitolifestylecentre.co.za/events for more details.
18 March – Night Market at Salt Rock Country Club, 5pm – 9pm.
– Piano with Noelin at The Market from 10am to 12.30pm, followed by Dave Starke from 6-9pm. The Kickstands will entertain at Eat Street from 6.30-9.30pm.
19 March – Bok van Blerk concert in Ballito at Old North at Karibu. Early Bird Tickets available on iTickets. General: R220. Children under 6: R150
– Steve Graham and The Black Lapels will perform at Eat Street, respectively at 12.30-3.30pm and 6.30-9.30pm.
20 March – Corona Chasing Sunsets at The Litchi Orchard from 2pm to 9pm with Kyle Cassim, Jordan Arts, Lemon & Herb, FKA Mash, Ronald Rowley and Funky G. Tickets from R250.
– Gavin Ferguson live at The Studios from 10.30 to 12.30pm.
21 March – South African singer-songwriter and guitarist, Rowan Stuart performs at The Market from 5.30-8.30pm. Catch Jazz band Afritude live at Eat Street from 12.30-3.30pm.
26 March – Charlotte’s Web at the Durban Botanic Gardens amphitheater, daily at 2.30pm until April 3. Morning shows on Saturdays at 11am, Sunday, April 3 at 11am. Bring your own picnics. Tickets priced at R150 for adults, children under 12 and pensioners at R120, tickets available at webstickets.co.za.
27 March – The KwaDukuza Resource Centre will host a 8km fun run and 5km fun walk. All welcome. Entry is R10 and R20, respectively. Contact 032 551 6251/2.
30 March – AGM. Join the Wednesday Club, a charity organisation which raises funds for worthy causes at the Ballito Library, every last Wednesday of the month at 9am. Contact Filippa Heyneke at 082 602 4593.
2 April – Celebration and support of Autism Awareness Day at 2 Elizabeth Street, KwaDukuza (Stanger) from 10am to 3pm. Sponsors welcome. Contact Abidah Shaik at 074 337 0032.
