What you need

  • Blocks of wood or square wood off-cuts
  • Electric drill
  • Sanding paper
  • Paper clips for antennas
  • Googly eyes
  • Wood paint (for the eyes and mouth)
  • Polyurethane (or mineral oil)
  • A metre of string
  • Cotton wool
