Easter Country Fair comes to town

The Easter Fair will be held at Collisheen Estate between April 13 and 15.

Under the theme ‘When Women Gather’, the Christmas Fair Fund ladies will launch their first Easter Country Fair as the organisation celebrates 70 years of success.

The Christmas Fair Fund it is a non-profit organisation started by a group of farmers’ wives in 1952 to support worthy causes and organisations. It presently serves as a fundraiser agent for about 28 initiatives.

“This year we celebrate the ladies who have given their time and talent to help ensure the incredible success of the Fair Fund,” said coordinator, Michelle Blake.

“As with the fund’s main annual event, exclusivity and quality remain the name of the game as products and suppliers are handpicked. Our aim is to find the best of the best,” said Michelle.

As things stand, visitors will have a superb selection of 75 stall holders and vendors to look forward to.

“We want to showcase goods handcrafted by local artists and manufacturers.”

With the time of season being just right, pomegranates and by-products of the fruit will also make an appearance.

The Easter Fair will be held at Collisheen Estate between April 13 and 15.

On April 13 a VIP preview will be given from 4-6pm, day 2 opening times will be 8.30am to 5pm and on the last day, 8.30am to 3pm.

Tickets are available at R70 per person at https://bit.ly/3j5Wymt.
