Here are your North Coast events to attend

From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.

2 June – The Studios (Ballito Lifestyle Centre) launches First Thursdays, a new monthly specialty event with exclusive offers from tenants and extended trading hours (9am-8.30pm). The Gallery also launches a new exhibition, titled Tidal.

3 June – Join First Friday Business Club for coffee, networking and new business introductions at iLembe Chamber of Commerce. Speaker is award-winning marketing consultant Ann Druce. Time: 8-10am. Cost: R100 for non-members. RSVP: sakhile@ilembechamber.co.za | 087 354 6343.

4 June – Riaan Benade and his band perform live at Linc Church in Salt Rock from 5-10.30pm. Tickets R200-220 at iTickets.co.za.

– Sugar Market at Salt Rock Country Club, 9am-2pm. Stalls, yummy food, fun activities for the kids and live music.

5 June – Colour run fundraiser for Bloom Special Needs School at Holla Trails, Sugar Rush Park. Walk, run or ride 5km. Special 1km free forest walk for toddlers and prams. Costs: R80pp under 12, R120pp over 12, R350 per family of four. First 100 entries on Webtickets receives a free Bloom colour run 2022 T-shirt; webtickets.co.za. Registration from 8.30am (riders) and 9am (walk/run).

8 June – Man vs Food fundraiser in aid of Sables Creatures at Mozambik Ballito from 6pm. Challenges include Hammer of Thor, chili vodka, speedy hot wings and boat race. Contact: 082 826 0017 | 032 946 0979.

11 June – Sharon Properties launch at Taso’s Bar & Grill. Special performance by Armand Hofmeyr. Proceeds go toward SPCA Durban and Coast. Entry is R100 per person, 7-9pm.

12 June – Ballito Junction Classic Car Show, 10am-3pm. Entry is free.

14 June – Visit the Ballito Library where the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) staff will assist with your blood donation. SANBS is at the library every second Tuesday of the month from 10am-6pm.
