Here are your upcoming North Coast events

From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.

24 June – Catch Noelin on piano at The Market from 10am-12.30pm, with The Kickstands live from 6-9pm.

25 June – Tara Blake performs at The Market from 10am-12pm, followed by Hale Mary from 12.30-3.30pm.

26 June – Quiet Storm performs at Eat Street from 1-4pm.

29 June – The Wednesday Club meeting at the Ballito Library, Compensation Beach Road, at 9am. Visitors welcome. Contact Filippa Heyneke at 082 602 4593.

2 July – Writing among the equines at Redwoods Riding Centre, 10am-12.30pm. Priced at R450pp and includes refreshments. Bring a friend and get a 50% discount. Contact 083 305 4813.

Shaka’s Head Calvary Community Church flea market at Townsend Park in Ballito between 9am-4pm. Vendors are welcome. Contact: 078 460 8951.

6 July – Umhlali and District Garden and Flower Club AGM at All Souls Anglican Church, Sheffield Beach Road. Talk by Lindsay Gray on landscaping for small gardens. Visitors welcome at R40. Contact: 032 946 3935 or 032 940 5255.

11-12 July – Umhlali Saps’ Victim Friendly Room (VFR) now up and running. A pamphlet drive to run from 11am on these two days at the traffic lights opposite Ballito Lifestyle Centre. Free services offered include counselling for traumatic events such as domestic violence, rape, housebreaking, substance abuse, sexual abuse and more. 12 July – Visit the Ballito Library where the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) staff will assist with your blood donation. SANBS is at the library every second Tuesday of the month from 10am to 6pm.
