Little Red Riding Hood coming to the Durban Botanic Gardens
A wolf is on the prowl and Little Red and Granny must use all their wits and ingenuity to keep him out, or be gobbled up for dinner.
Little Red Riding Hood will be strutting along into the Durban Botanic Gardens Amphitheatre this month.
Presented by Kickstart, The Further Tales of Little Red Riding Hood will run until July 17, and tells the story we are all familiar with.
Little Red Riding Hood returns to her granny’s cottage in the woods for a sleepover and, as they prepare for an evening of baking and bed-time stories, the duo are interrupted by an unwelcome knock at the door from a furry paw.
Actors include Bryan Hills, Belinda Henwood and Cara Roberts in this hilariously rowdy retelling of this well-loved tale.
Tickets are priced at R150 per person, kids (0-12) and pensioners get in at R120.
Morning shows run from 11am and matinees at 2.30pm on some days. A full schedule is available at webtickets.
Bring your own picnic baskets and parking is available at the Botanic Gardens Visitors Centre.
