There are plenty of animals you can make from pinecones, depending on the shape of pinecone you find. The instructions here are for a racoon.

Did you know that something as simple as a pinecone can be used to make a variety of cute woodland animals?

Today we’re going to make a racoon!

What you need

  • Pinecones
  • Hot glue gun
  • Craft glue
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes
  • Wool
  • Acrylic paints
  • Paintbrush
  • Markers
  • Sticks
  • Acorns
  • Twine string, craft pipe cleaners, or felt
  • Different coloured cardboard
