From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

25 March – Ballito Gesinskerk bazaar from 8am to noon. Lots of delicious foods, treats and more, with a farm fresh meat sale and wine auction. Tea garden and slip-‘n-slide for kids. Non-vendors welcome to sell goods. Contact 032 946 1198 from 8am to 1pm for bookings.

Swimathon to raise money for Happy Bundles cancer charity at Curro Salt Rock. Lanes open all day. R50 per swimmer. Teams, families and solo swimmers welcome. Contact Jen via WhatsApp at 073 155 3723 to book.

Westbrook Neighbourhood Watch fundraiser and family fun day from 10am to 2pm, 1 Strelitzia Place, Westbrook. Food, activities and prizes for all ages. Entry is free, raffle tickets at R30. Contact Amy at 082 305 6608 or Kem at 084 683 1983.

Fast and Furriest 5km fun walk from 8-10.30am at Zimbali Lakes Resort sales centre. Pets welcome. Lucky draw and consider adopting a dog from Sables Creatures on site. Registration starts at 7.30am. Coffee station available, with water stations and poop bags available for your dog. All dogs need to be leashed. Contact 087 095 2742. Entry is free.

31 March – Relive the ’60s and ’70s with Bee Gees Night Fever, a theatrical musical at iZulu Theatre, Sibaya Casino from 8pm. Tickets from R295, available at TicketPros.co.za.

31 March – 2 April – Legends music concert at the Pumpkin Theatre, La Montagne Hotel, Ballito. Headlining are Andrea Giglio, Zoe Sturgeon, Kerry-Lee McKibbin, Aeryn Linington and the Steps Dance Company. Tickets are R180 per person, available at pumpkintheatre.co.za or call 061 871 1665. 5 April – Umhlali and District Garden and Flower Club meeting at All Souls Anglican Church, Sheffield Beach Road at 9.30am. Talk by seed company Starke Ayres representatives on autumn and container gardening. The seed company will also donate 50 gift hampers. Visitors welcome at R50.
