What’s happening on the North Coast

From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

31 March – Relive the 60s and 70s with Bee Gees Night Fever, a theatrical musical, at iZulu Theatre, Sibaya Casino from 8pm. Tickets from R295 at TicketPros.co.za.

Hale Mary performs at The Market from 6-9pm with Chuck Bowden at Eat Street from 6.30-9.30pm.

31 March – 2 April – Legends Music Concert at the Pumpkin Theatre, La Montagne Hotel, Ballito. Tickets are R180 per person, at pumpkintheatre.co.za or call 061 871 1665. Show times vary.

1 April – Mommy and Me painting class at Simbithi Country Club from 10am to midday. Ages five to 13. Booking essential, contact 063 203 7943. R480 per pair.

Qadasi & Maqhinga perform at The Market from 12.30-3.30pm, followed by The Black Lapels from 6-9pm.

2 April – Classical music concert by Christopher Duigan at Ashton International College Ballito, from 3pm. Cost is R150pp, includes tea/coffee and cake. Tickets at door or email booking@musicrevival.co.za.

Nibs van der Spuy at The Studios from 10.30am to 12.30pm, with The Kickstands performing at The Market from 12.30-3.30pm.

3-9 April – Eggstra Easter fun at Sugar Rush Park daily, with slides, bouncy castles, rocket ride, Easter bunny and much more. All-day access at R120pp from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Information at sugarrush.co.za.

5 April – Umhlali and District Garden and Flower Club at All souls Anglican Church, Sheffield Beach Road at 9.30am. Talk by seed company Starke Ayres representatives on autumn and container gardening. The seed company will also donate 50 gift hampers. Visitors welcome at R50. Environmental talk on Why is a bird, a bird, as well as Migration: How? Why? Where? with Steve Davis at 6pm, the Pavilion Room, Simbithi Eco Estate. Entry is R30. RSVP at environmental@simbithi.com.
