26 May – Afrikaans comedy show, Ken jou man se wortel, at the Pumpkin Theatre by comedian Timothy Kieswetter. A ladies night event only for ages 18 and over, from 7pm. Tickets priced from R185, available at itickets.co.za.
– Noelin performs on piano at The Market from 10am-12.30pm, with Chuck Bowden from 6-9pm.
27 May – Calli Thomson performs at The Studios from 10am-12pm, followed by Steve Graham at Eat Street from 1-4pm.
28 May – Bloom Centre for Children with Special Needs colour run at Holla Trails, Sugar Rush Park. Registration at 8.30am. Prizes for best dressed team of 10. Entry is R100 for ages 12 and under, R140 for over 12, R400 for a family of four and R1 200 for teams of 10. Tickets at webtickets.co.za.
– Quiet Storm performs at Eat Street from 1-4pm.
31 May – Ballito Book Readers meeting at 75 Hilary Drive, Ballito, Ekhaya Guest House at 5.30pm. Contact richard.finchvso@gmail.com.
3 June – Social dance and James Bond themed dance show with Ryno van den Berg and Elena Tokarenko at Salt Rock Country Club from 6-11.30pm. Dress code is black tie. R400pp, including buffet dinner. Also performing is Winston Smile. For more information call 078 188 5768.
4 June – Pianist Christopher Duigan performs at Ashton International College Ballito from 3pm. Entry is R150, includes tea and cake.
5 June – In line with World Environment Day, CEO of Triplo4 Sustainable Solutions, Hantie Plomp, will speak at the Hirsch’s Ballito business networking event, 8.30am for 9am. All welcome. Contact: crystal@hirschs.co.za to RSVP.
