Tongaat musician Thami Siyaya, known by his stage name PYRO Ofi$hal, is determined to become one of the most recognised artists in the country.

The talented singer, songwriter and producer said his journey began with a deep-rooted love for music.

Although he initially confined himself to writing lyrics, he said he struggled to find the right outlet for his words.

It wasn’t until he ventured into producing music himself that he discovered a powerful medium to express his stories.

He understands the importance of doing what it takes, investing significant time and effort to achieve his goals.

When it comes to his musical inspiration, PYRO Ofi$hal stands out with his unique approach. Rather than drawing inspiration solely from specific artists, he keeps his music pure and original.

His creative process is primarily influenced by his past experiences.

Gone are the days of scripting his music on paper. He now immerses himself in the beats he creates, relying on the immediate connection he feels within the first 45 seconds.

Open to collaboration, he welcomes the opportunity to work with other exceptional artists. His ultimate goal is to create relatable music.

Recording in his own space with professional studio equipment, he takes charge of mixing and mastering his music, ensuring a polished and authentic sound.
