12-16 July – Enjoy the colourful adaptation of AA Milne’s classic children’s story, Winnie the Pooh, at the Elizabeth Sneddon theatre. Join Christopher Robin and his lovable animal friends in their enchanting adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood, featuring a talented cast of both new and regular performers. 13 July – Local talent rocks with open mic night at The Market from 6pm.
July 14 – Watch New Zealand VS Springboks live on the big screen at The Market from 9.05am, Hale Mary performs from 6-9pm.
– Eat Street comes alive with a performance by Quiet Storm from 6-9pm.
July 16 – The Kickstands perform at The Market from 12.30-3.30pm.
19 July – Darnall and Districts Women’s Institute annual Cuppa for Cansa fundraiser at Zinkwazi Ski Boat Club from 9.30am to midday. Tickets R50 per person. Cake and tea will be served. Contact Ann Liversage at 083 229 9669.
22 July – LIV Village Trail Race from 7am at LIV Village Verulam. Trails include 5km, 13km and 19km, tickets starting from R65 available from kzntrailrunning.co.za/ races/ liv-village-race.
– Blood drive at Seatides Combined School from 10am-3pm.
25 July – Minnette’s Art brings you ‘Gin and Canvas’ at Ballito Hills at R375 per person. Includes all painting material, dinner and a glass of gin. Booking essential at 063 203 7943.
28 July – Get your party hat on for a charity Wine & Gin Festival at Umhlali Country Club from 5.30pm. Sponsored by Mamma G’s, all proceeds will go to Ballito Lions club. Live music and lots of fun. Tickets at www.quicket.co.za.
