Events in and around Ballito you don’t want to miss

From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

24 August – Miss Ballito cocktail event at the Pumpkin Theatre, La Montagne Hotel from 5.30pm. Meet the eight finalists. Tickets priced at R250 will include snacks. Dress code is ‘cocktail’. Contact missballito.rotaryzimbali@gmail.com.

25 August – Dave Starke performs at The Market from 5-8pm, with Hale Mary performing at Eat Street from 5.30-8.30pm.

New Zealand VS Springboks live on the big screen at The Market, from 8.30pm.

26 August – Bazaar at Ballito Gesinskerk (behind the clinic in Leonora Drive) from 8-12am. Affordable outing for the whole family: Traditional bazaar food, homemade confectionary and desserts. Twenty exhibitors, wine auction, tea garden, second-hand sale, handcrafts and entertainment for kids. For more info, call 032 946 1198.

26-27 August – Mighty Men Conference with Angus Buchan at Sugar Rush Park, Ballito. Saturday starts with praise and worship from 6pm, while a service will be held on Sunday from 9am. Call 083 253 5100 or 083 500 1319 for more information. Camping is free.

27 August – Adopt-a-Beach Ballito to host its second beach clean-up effort at Zimbali Long Beach from 8am. Parking available at Foch le Roux parking area, just south of the Ballito Ski Boat Club. For more information contact Mike Gahagan at 083 258 9696 or visit the Adopt-a-River Facebook page.
