Make your voice count in Best of Ballito!

Voting closes on June 26.

Just under two weeks remain to have your say in the Best of Ballito Readers’ Choice Awards 2026.

Voting closes on June 26 and time is running out to support the businesses, professionals and organisations that you believe deserve recognition. The awards, now in their fifth year, are built entirely on public participation, meaning every winner is decided solely by local voters.

Some 2 627 unique businesses have been nominated this year – the most ever – and a record-breaking voter turnout is also expected.

Best of Ballito continues a proud South African tradition, where “Best Of” competitions around the country have celebrated local quality for more than 30 years.

A few new categories have been added in 2026, alongside those that have recognised familiar community favourites over past editions. Be sure to spend some time on the Best of Ballito website to ensure every business you want to support is rewarded. By voting, residents are not only recognising excellence but also helping to strengthen local businesses across the North Coast.

One voter will win a Canelands Beach Club and Spa experience.

As in previous years, voters also stand a chance to win luxury prizes from some incredible local businesses – just by taking part.

Prizes include:
• A two-night stay and spa treatment at Sala Beach House worth R30 690.

• A two-night stay with breakfast and dining vouchers at Sibaya Lodge valued at
R15 000.

• A night’s stay, with breakfast and couples spa treatment at Canelands Beach Club and Spa worth R8 980.
• Prizes from Mins Breakdown Service & Panel Beaters worth R6 000.

• A comprehensive eye test with prescription glasses from Vision Works Ballito valued at R5 000.

To qualify for the prize draw, participants must vote in at least nine categories and opt into the competition. Visit bestofballito.co.za to vote and for more information.
