In a beautiful gesture of solidarity, the Ballito community responded to the cruise ship anchored off the coast on with hundreds of homes and cars flashing their lights on Saturday evening.
Residents were sending a message of thanks to the captain and crew of the MSC Orchestra for blasting the ship’s horn at noon on Saturday, in salute of frontline workers and to encourage Ballito residents during lockdown.
