Drug dealer nabbed with R222 000 worth of drugs

The drug dealer is expected to appear in the Verulam Magistrate's Court on Friday.

A MAN has been arrested for being in possession of cocaine, crystal meth and methcathinone to the value of R222 900. The suspected drug dealer was nabbed by members of the Durban Flying Squad who arrested the suspect in Waterloo. According to police, the man is a known drug dealer in the Durban North and Sibaya Casino area.

“Members kept observation on the suspect which resulted in his arrest in Waterloo for dealing in drugs. Cocaine, Crystal Meth and Methcathinone were seized in the arrest. The estimated value of the drugs is R222 900. He is expected to appear in the Verulam Magistrate’s Court on Friday,” they said in a statement.

In November last year, Durban North SAPS arrested a man being in possession of a total of 84 parcels of hydroponic dagga worth R8 400.
