Festive operations in full swing

THE Greenwood Park SAPS’ festive season’s operations started on 15 October and will run till 31 January next year.

According to Greenwood Park SAPS’ Capt James Becker the focus will be on the matric exams, the closing of schools and businesses, as well as the influx of people into the province.

This week’s arrests included eight arrests for possession of dagga, two arrests for possession of dangerous weapons, two for theft, five for assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm, two for business robbery, one for sexual assault, one for attempted murder, one for drunk driving and two for common robbery.
