Family searches for missing uMhlanga woman

Missing woman was last seen at a bus stop in uMhlanga.

A FACEBOOK post of an uMhlanga woman who is missing has been doing the rounds for the past week. The post says that family members of uMhlanga resident, Viki Burger (Roxx), are appealing to the public for any information for her safe return. Burger was last seen at a bus stop in uMhlanga on Wednesday, 1 April. It’s believed she was planning to go to Richards Bay. Her car is also missing. She drives a cream and black Mini Cooper (Registration FJN 891 MP).

Her brother, Nico, was unwilling to talk to Northglen News for fear of jeapordising an investigation into her disappearance. A family friend, Michael Cowling, urged the public to come forward with any information. Cowling’s post on his Facebook page has had 1 463 shares.

“I’ve known Viki since she was nine, and we are all praying and hoping to find her,” he said.

Cowling too could not say whether there were leads in the investigation.

If you have any information about Burger, contact Michael on 078 894 4709 or her brother, Nico Burger, on 079 790 6158.
