A taxi and three cars collided on North Coast Road.

ONE man was left in critical condition after a taxi collided with three light motor vehicles on North Coast Road on Tuesday evening. According to Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen, seven other people sustained minor injuries in the collision and we’re all treated on scene before being taken to various hospitals nearby.

“The collision involved a mini-bus taxi which had collided with three other light motor vehicles. The driver of the taxi sustained critical injuries and was placed on a mechanical ventilator to assist his breathing.

“Seven others sustained minor to moderate injuries in the collision and were all treated on scene before being taken through to various hospitals nearby. Traffic was severely affected as most of the road was occupied by the scene as emergency workers attended to the injured,” he said.
