Five injured in M4 accident

Another accident on the M4, this time near the La Lucia off-ramp.

FIVE people have been injured after three cars collided on the M4 going north, near the La Lucia off-ramp, on Sunday. According to Chris Botha, Netcare 911 spokesman, traffic was affected in both directions.

The severity of the injuries to the patients are still being assessed. It’s believed a truck carrying metal sheeting lost its load which led to the three car pile-up. It is unclear if the cargo was secured properly.

Accident

The accident comes just three days after a head-on-collision on the M4 which left two people injured.
