WATCH: Plane misses landing in high winds

The Thomas Cook flight was coming in to land at Birmingham Airport in the UK when the pilots had to miss the landing and go back up.

A VIDEO has emerged of a plane attempting to land at Birmingham Airport when it was caught in strong crosswinds. The hair-raising video shows how the plane was forced to miss its landing, and try again, after getting caught in a crosswind.

In the video, an Airbus A321 is coming in to land at Birmingham Airport, but the crosswind across the runway makes it impossible, and the pilot is forced to take off, circle the runway and try again.

The video was shot by Youtuber, Flug Snug. Birmingham Airport is known for its tricky landing conditions due to sudden changes in wind speed.
