Protest action has once again erupted in the Springfield Park area forcing authorities to close off Election Road this morning.
According to reports, the protesters are burning tyres in the road.

Protesters also disrupted traffic along the M19 (towards Pinetown) on Monday and again on Tuesday along the Umgeni interchange.
The motivation behind the protest action remains unclear.
