Armed gang targets Somerset Park home
The suspects entered the property by derailing the gate.
DURBAN North SAPS are investigating a case of armed robbery after a home on Glastonbury Avenue was targeted on Wednesday afternoon.
Capt Raymond Deokaran, spokesman for the station, said a case of armed robbery had been opened.
“It is alleged three suspects using a 4×4 derailed the gate of the property to gain entrance.

Marshall Security spokesman, Kyle van Reenen, said the suspects then held up the homeowner and his family.
“The homeowner was struck across the head with the butt of a firearm in the incident. The men fled with two TVs, cell phones and a handbag containing cash, credit cards and car keys,” he said.
The incident follows an attempted home invasion in La Lucia on Tuesday where two men were arrested and were found in possession of a weapon.
