Stolen items recovered, suspect arrested in Glen Anil bush
The suspect and stolen property were handed over to the SAPS for further investigation and processing.
A SUSPECT was arrested on a vacant property in Glen Anil after an hour long search by security officers.
Tyron Powell of Marshall Security said their Emergency Dispatch Centre received a call for help from a Highlands Close resident who has seen a suspect jump from their property into a neighbouring property around 4am on Thursday.

“Multiple armed reaction officers were dispatched to scene. Upon searching for the suspect, stolen items were recovered in a bush on Highlands Road,” he said.
The Marshall Security team searched for the suspect in the surrounding areas.

“After searching for approximately an hour, our team managed to arrest the suspect who was hiding in a vacant property in The Curl with more stolen items. It could not be established where some of the stolen items were taken from,” said Powell.
The suspect and stolen property were handed over to the SAPS for further investigation and processing.
Greenwood Park SAPS did not send their comment at the time this article was published.
