“It was fantastic to see people at different levels of interest come to engage with our club members and learn more about bonsai. We had more than 15 new members join our club. So many people said they were inspired by the amazing trees on display, which were also for sale.

“Some of the visitors said they enjoyed chatting to our members for advice on how to get started in this wonderful artform. Over the two days, we had five demonstrations from some of our members including Parkhill resident Farouk Patel,” she said.

More than 100 established bonsai and 10 Young Talent Trees were on display at the show.
