Man shot multiple times in Effingham
A family member transported the man to hospital for medical treatment.
A MAN was shot numerous times while sitting in his car in Sim Place, Effingham, on Monday.

Swift Private Security responded to the scene after receiving reports that gunshots had been fired in the area.
“Upon arriving at the scene, according to the accounts of the neighbours, it was discovered that a resident was shot multiple times through the vehicle in which he was sitting,” said Swift Private Security spokesperson Sanveer Sooklall.
He added that a family member who was present at the time of the incident immediately took the victim to the hospital for further medical attention.
Details as to what may have transpired to lead up to the shooting are unknown at this stage.
Greenwood Park SAPS is investigating the incident.
