CCTV footage of the robbery, which has been circulating in social media, shows a gang of four suspects run into the store and pull out handguns.
One of the suspects then points their firearm in the direction of a six-year-old girl seated at a table with her family.
A scuffle then breaks out, and in the ensuing struggle, three people are shot, sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.
A case of attempted murder and business robbery had been opened at the Greenwood Park SAPS, but it is expected the charges will now include murder.
