Armed suspects hijack Kenville resident in their driveway
The victim was hijacked when she arrived home.
POLICE are searching for two suspects involved in the hijacking of a Kenville resident on Wednesday evening (February 7).
According to Marshall Security spokesperson Tyron Powell, the incident occurred on Westview Road at about 21:15.
“Reports from the scene indicate that two suspects – one with a firearm – approached and hijacked the driver of her vehicle as she arrived home. The suspects arrived in an unknown silver vehicle.

“During the hijacking, one of the suspects dropped the magazine of their firearm on the floor. The vehicle was fitted with a tracking device. The victim was traumatised but, fortunately, was not injured in the incident,” he said.
Swift Private Security spokesperson Sanveer Sooklall, whose officers also responded to the incident revealed the victim had been followed from Umgeni Road to their home.
“The suspects arrived at the scene in a White Renault Triber and hijacked the resident in their yard.”
No arrests have been made in the case, but the Greenwood Park police were at the scene.
