Though Women's Day has already passed, Routledge Modise Attorney's recently honoured their initiative to assist the community by donating office wear to Hotel Hope Ministries Mothers in Crisis program.
“We often help young women from the township of Alexandra with finding their first employment after matric,” explained Ruth Nkosi, Social Worker and head of Mother's In Crisis. “Unfortunately the young girls don't have anything to wear that is suitable for the workplace. As we know, first impressions count so we asked our supporters at Routledge Modise for help and they donated bags upon bags of office attire.”
“We have been involved with Hotel Hope Ministries for almost 3 years, mainly giving pro-bono law advice to the organisation and its beneficiaries, said Michal Johnson, pro-bono attorney at Routledge Modise, “this was just one more opportunity to show that we care for marginalised communities. We wish the job applicants all the very best during the interview process. Hotel Hope does such amazing work that it is a privilege to be able to assist them.”
